Shipping Policy
We ship Australia wide using Australia Post via Express Post. We do not currently ship overseas.
Postage is a flat rate of $20 including GST.
Delivery
· Every order placed is reviewed by our team. Please make sure that your delivery address & postcode are correct at the time of placing your order.
· We dispatch cookies on Monday and Tuesday only. We will dispatch your order on the next available Monday or Tuesday after you have placed your order unless you have specified otherwise when ordering.
· We do not ship to PO boxes.
· Perishable goods must be shipped using Express Post to reduce time in transit. Delivery is usually within 1-3 days after dispatch, subject to Australia Post.
· All CHONK products are packed within tissue paper lined cardboard box and each cookie is sealed inside an individual bag. During hotter months ice packs might also be included.
· To ensure optimum freshness, no parcels are ever dispatched on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday as deliveries cannot be made on the weekend or public holidays.
· If your order is placed after 10am AWST Tuesday, it will be held for dispatch the following week.
· Please ensure you get your order shipped where it can be signed for during business hours. If there is no-one available to receive the parcel, the courier will leave the parcel at the property - we suggest placing an esky out with instructions for the package to be deposited into the esky if you are not going to be present when the package is delivered.
· If you have any issues with the condition of the product upon arrival, we ask you to take photographs and send to us within 24 hours of delivery to hello@chonk.au.
· CHONK cannot be held responsible for non-delivery due to an incorrect address. We also cannot be held responsible for any delivery delays which may occur during peak seasons, Australia Post operational issues or other events out of our control.
· We make no guarantees about expected delivery times, including Christmas orders. CHONK is not responsible for Australia Post delays caused by Public Holidays in states other than Western Australia. If you are aware there is a public holiday in your state that may impact the delivery of your parcel - please contact us at hello@chonk.au prior to dispatch. Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be recalled due to late notification.
· CHONK cannot be responsible if a parcel is left in a safe place on the property or left at the post office.
· CHONK’s shipping costs are non-refundable.
· CHONK cannot cover the cost of 'return to sender' due to an incorrect address – If your order is returned to sender, a shipping fee will occur to re-ship, including the cost of any product which was spoiled in transit.
· Free shipping/shipping included promotions are solely for the advertised product/s, any additional product/s added to the cart will be charged at the calculated cost.
Tracking
· You will receive tracking details for your order via email once your order has been collected by Australia Post.
· Please check your tracking information before contacting us. If your delivery is late or you believe it is missing, please contact us as soon as possible.
Changes to your order
· If there are any changes to the delivery address or instructions, it is the customer’s responsibility to inform us immediately via email at hello@chonk.au.
· Please note we are unable to modify or cancel dispatched orders.
Sending to your friend
Please state the ‘Shipping address’ to be different from the billing address.
As we understand this may be a gift, we ask you forward the tracking information along to the receiver to avoid spoilage.
